My name is Christine and my partner in crime is Kevin. We are from Toronto, Canada. We love to cook and we love games, so we started Knapkins in July of 2011. Our goal is to make discovering recipes more fun and social through games. So far, we've brought together 22112 recipes from 918 amazing food bloggers from all over the world. Loves: Raw Garlic, Lasagna, Poutine, Homemade Ice Cream, and eating Lemon Meringue Pie
Hates: Ginger
First food memory: Growing up, our two acre backyard was magical. We’d grow all sorts of fantastic veggies. I remember all the weird shaped peppers, Chinese bittermelon and juicy tomatoes. I remember rolling watermelons across the yard because they were too heavy to carry. Every morning my mom would blend us a weird smoothie concoction of the things from our harvest. She’d always put in raw ginger, and to this day I still have to pick it out of my food.

Loves: Beef Wellington, Chicken Pot Pie, Chocolate Souffle, Cookies, and making Lemon Meringue Pie
Hates: Celery, Cauliflower
Favourite dish to make: I love watching Hell’s Kitchen and Chef Gordon Ramsey. One of his signature dishes is Beef Wellington. I love how easy and fun it is to make. Nice fancy meal.
